Fees and Payments
Fees for therapy services are determined on a sliding scale, based on gross total annual household income/resources. A free phone consultation is offered to all prospective clients and during that call, the fee for your services will be determined using the sliding scale.
Star Point Counseling PLLC does not participate directly with insurance. However, we are happy to provide you with paid invoices that include all of the codes and diagnoses necessary for you to submit to your health insurance provider for reimbursement, through out of network benefits, if your policy provides for these. It is the client’s responsibility to contact their insurance provider directly to determine if they have an out-of-network benefit, and what the specific requirements are. Star Point Counseling PLLC and our clinicians cannot make any guarantees regarding any insurance coverage.
Fees are due to be paid at the time of service. Preferred payment is by Zelle. We also accept cash, check, and ACH checks through your bank. Your therapist will provide you with the information needed for these methods.

Does Star Point Counseling accept insurance?
We don't bill insurance directly. What we can do is provide you with a paid invoice that includes the codes and diagnosis information most insurers need for out-of-network reimbursement. We'd recommend calling your insurance provider ahead of time to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment is due at the time of service. Zelle is our preferred method. We also accept cash, check, and ACH bank transfer.
